Seattle House Cleaning Service Terms & Conditions

Acceptance of Terms

By booking services through Seattle House Cleaning Service's website, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not book services with us.

Booking Confirmation

Booking a service online does not immediately guarantee a reservation for the selected date/time. You will receive a confirmation via email or phone.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy:

We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling to secure jobs for our cleaners and manage our schedule effectively. Failure to provide 24 hours' notice will result in a $70 late cancellation fee.

Cleaning Crew

Our teams typically consist of two cleaners, though more may be assigned based on the job's complexity or our schedule. We strive to provide consistent service by limiting cleaner rotation in your home.

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service due to safety concerns, inappropriate situations, weapons on premises, severe clutter, or disconnected utilities.

Our cleaners have the right to leave if they deem the home extremely unsanitary or feel unsafe. In such cases, the cancellation fee will apply.

Preparation for Cleaning Day

To ensure efficiency, we ask that you tidy up your home to allow our cleaners to focus on cleaning tasks. If additional tidying is required, please inform us in advance so we can adjust the cleaning fee accordingly.

Parking

Please provide convenient parking for our service providers. If free parking is not available, the cost will be added to your bill. Lack of available parking will be considered a cancellation, and a $70 fee will apply.

Add-On Services

We offer additional services for an extra charge, including eco-friendly products, interior window cleaning, and more. Please inquire for details.

Pets

We are pet-friendly but ask that pets be restrained to ensure the safety and efficiency of our cleaners. Aggressive pets may result in service termination, and the cancellation policy will apply.

Service Fees

Prices are based on our experience but may be adjusted based on the actual condition of your home. We will communicate any price adjustments before starting the job.

Payments

Payment is due on the day of service via Cash, CashApp, Venmo, &/or Zelle

Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds. If you are unsatisfied with our service, please contact us within 24 hours, and we will address the issue at no additional charge.

Recurring Service Discount

Discounts for recurring services apply after the first cleaning. Skipping cleanings may result in a price adjustment to reflect the actual frequency of service.

Rate Increases

We reserve the right to adjust rates based on changes in service frequency, home conditions, or annual increases.

Lockouts

If we cannot access your home on the scheduled day, you will be charged a $70 lockout fee. To avoid this, consider providing us with a key or access code.

Rescheduling & Cancellations

Please provide at least 24 hours' notice to avoid a $70 cancellation fee.

Alarm Systems

If your home has a security system, please ensure it is disabled on cleaning day or provide us with instructions.

Use of Homeowner’s Vacuum

If you prefer we use your vacuum, we are not liable for any damage to the unit.

Cleaning Supplies

We supply all necessary cleaning products. If you have specific preferences, please let us know.

Items We Cannot Clean

We do not clean hazardous materials, mold, or areas with biohazard conditions.

Unreachable Areas & Heavy Items

Our cleaners do not climb higher than a step stool and cannot move heavy furniture.

Breakage/Damage & Loss Policy

We are insured for any accidental damage. Please report any incidents within 24 hours.

Cleaners Arrival Window

We provide arrival windows to accommodate scheduling efficiencies. Specific times cannot be guaranteed.

Holidays and Inclement Weather

Our holiday schedule and inclement weather policy are available upon request.

Keys and Security

For security, we recommend a lockbox for key exchange. We are not liable for damages or theft if doors are left unlocked or keys are left unsecured.

Non-Solicitation

Directly hiring our cleaners outside of this service agreement is prohibited.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington.

Seattle House Cleaning Service reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time.
